Training people who crave thoughtful and challenging exercise, as well as those who have the focus to achieve their strongest and most functional selves, is Artemis’ goal. She believes that it’s only when people gain the tools of education and effective instruction that they transform their bodies. 

 

Artemis opened BCS with the intent to give people the opportunity to take authentic and intelligent Pilates Reformer classes at an affordable price. Opening a studio allowed her to serve her clients the full spectrum of her tool set which are strongly Pilates and GYROTONIC® based.

 

In 2001 Artemis received her Pilates certification in the San Francisco Bay Area studios of Jean Sullivan and Angi Spector. Artemis completed her GYROTONIC® Certification in 2006 with Tamara Yoneda and has been blessed with further education from Master Trainers Debra Rose, Lisa Marie Goodwin and Leda Franklin, as well as many other incredible GYROTONIC® trainers.  Artemis’ mother, Marcia Anderson is also a licensed GYROTONIC® trainer and together they indulged in the Rejuvenation series with Juliu Horvath, founder of GYROTONIC®.
